Job summary

JMS Crane & Rigging in Billings, MT seeks an experienced full-time Class A CDL Rigger to support field operations, ensure safe lifting of loads, execute specialty rigging, and transport heavy equipment to job sites.

You will assist crane operators, perform rigging, signaling, loading/strapping, and complete inspections and gear maintenance. A clean driving record and safety focus are essential, with strong teamwork and communication preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• 1-3 years of Class A CDL experience.
• 1-3 years of professional rigging experience preferred.
• Commitment to safety and DOT regulations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist crane operators with safe set-up and teardown.
• Execute rigging and machine-moving operations for safe lifts.
• Use standard hand signals to guide crane operations.
• Load, secure, and transport equipment per DOT rules.
• Perform pre- and post-trip truck/trailer inspections.
• Maintain inventory and housekeeping of gear.
