Job summary

Priority Waste Resources LLC in Wayne, Michigan is seeking a Residential Truck Driver to safely operate a garbage truck and related equipment on assigned routes to haul solid waste and recycling debris from customers.

The role requires a valid CDL (Class A or B), a clean driving record, and the ability to pass background and DOT drug tests. Training and a professional appearance are expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL required or preferred.
• At least 1 year experience operating a residential waste truck.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to pass background check, DOT drug screen.
• Safe driving record with no avoidable accidents in 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Operate truck per OSHA/DOT and local laws.
• Complete daily residential routes and keep site free of debris.
• Communicate with customers and dispatch.
• Report incidents to Route Manager/Dispatch.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and professional appearance.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Valid Class A or B CDL

1-year experience operating a residential waste truck

Ability to communicate professionally with customers and dispatch

Ability to sit, kneel, crouch, stoop, crawl, balance, hear, talk and smell

Lift up to 75 pounds
