Job summary

Waste Pro USA is hiring immediate CDL Drivers to operate refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes. You will load, collect, and transfer garbage and recycling, conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintain vehicle cleanliness while delivering high levels of service.

We offer a driver award program and a team-focused work environment. CDL-A or CDL-B with clean driving record required; all safety rules and DOT regulations apply on site.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works.
• Requires a clean driving record.
• Understand refuse collection policies and DOT requirements.
• Ability to communicate in English with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives truck on pre-established routes and collects garbage and recyclables.
• Provides Distinguishably Different level of service with courteous customer interaction.
• Ensures proper pickup and transfer of refuse to trucks.
• Performs daily pre- and post-trip inspections and safety checks.
• Maintains truck cleanliness and performs exterior washes.
• Performs manual duties in cleanup of scattered refuse and waste handling.
• Prepares and submits required reports and documents.
• Oversees helpers on the route and ensures safety of all personnel on vehicle.
• Complies with DOT/state regulations for commercial motor vehicles.
• May work during emergency situations.
