Job Details

CDL Relief Delivery Drivers play a critical role in the day-to-day operations, while interacting with customers, Sales Representatives, and Merchandisers daily to meet the expectations of the business. They are responsible for delivering, unloading and checking in the product to customers each day. Our Drivers are the face of the Company and must provide top notch customer service.


Primary Responsibilities



  • Unloading, loading, and checking-in products at customer accounts on a relief basis

  • Balancing invoices, verifying payments, and ensuring applicable paperwork is received

  • Work or rotate delivered product when necessary

  • Uphold sustainable relationships with customer accounts by providing outstanding consistent customer service

  • Adhere to and follow all Company policies, procedures and government regulations including all DOT & state liquor laws and regulations

  • Complete Driver assigned duties delivering Company's products in a safe, timely and professional manner

  • Inspects the vehicle pre- and post-trip to monitor the maintenance and safety of the vehicle

  • Work with all team members on a continual basis to support and evaluate company initiatives

  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values at all times

  • Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned

This job operates indoors and outdoors.


Physical Demands



  • Use of hand truck, pallet jack, and lift gate

  • Lift/carry and push/pull 35 lbs. repetitively, moving kegs up to 165 lbs.

  • Repetitive bending /stoop/crouch/squat/use arms/wrists/hands/grasp

  • Must be able to drive and operate a vehicle

  • Expected Hours of Work


This is a full-time position, days and hours of work vary and may include overtime. This position does not have any overnight or long-haul travel/hours.

Required Education and Experience



  • Minimum of 21 years of age

  • Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)

  • Maintain valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and current certifications


Preferred Education and Experience



  • High school diploma or GED

  • Six (6) months previous CDL driving experience

  • Previous grocery or retail experience

  • Class A (Manual) CDL
