Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state and local school bus laws and policies.
• Ability to drive safely in all weather and manage bus discipline.
• CPR and first aid training required.
• Meet physical qualifications and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate school buses and maintain on-time schedules.
• Perform daily safety inspections and ensure vehicle upkeep.
• Instruct students on emergency exits and safety.
• Assist students boarding/alighting and supervise behavior.
• Complete reports and maintain records.
• Provide basic first aid as needed.
• Complete required trainings and certifications.
