Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, seeks a Ready Mix Driver for the Volente Plant to transport ready mix concrete to construction sites and facilities. You will operate mixer trucks safely, follow supervisor instructions, and work in both industrial and residential areas.

This role reports to on-site supervision and requires rigorous adherence to safety standards. Qualifying candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years mixer truck experience, a valid CDL A or B, and pass

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years experience driving mixer truck.
• Must have a valid driver's license and must maintain a CDL A or CDL B license.
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must possess valid DOT medical card.
• Must wear PPE per OSHA/MSHA and company rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with DOT documentation.
• Load and unload materials.
• Monitor gauges during operation of vehicle.
• Maintain daily vehicle mileage logs.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
• Obey dispatch instructions.
• Assure product quality.
• Perform minor maintenance and refer major problems to supervisor.
• Keep vehicle clean and in good condition.
• Maintain regular attendance as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.
