Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Ready Mix Driver to transport ready mix concrete to construction sites and company facilities. This role requires safe operation of concrete trucks, adherence to DOT guidelines, and the ability to work with supervision as needed.

Key duties include pre/post trip inspections, loading/unloading, maintaining logs, and following safety procedures. A high school diploma or GED, CDL A or B, and 2 years mixer truck experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with CDL A or B.
• DOT physical, drug screen and background check required.
• Must maintain DOT medical card and comply with safety rules.
• Minimum 2 years of mixer truck driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with documentation per DOT guidelines.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Monitor gauges during truck operation.
• Maintain daily vehicle mileage logs.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Obey dispatch instructions and ensure product quality.
• Perform minor servicing and report major problems.
• Keep vehicle clean and in good order.
• Attend work as scheduled; may travel and work nights/weekends.
