Job summary

Sunrock Industries is hiring multiple openings for a NEW Concrete Plant in Prospect Hill, NC. We seek dependable Ready Mix Concrete Drivers to operate concrete mixer trucks with manual or automatic transmissions, delivering to various job sites while adhering to DOT and safety standards.

Qualified candidates hold a valid CDL A or B, have a commitment to safe driving, and can work long hours including overtime.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required for driving Ready Mix trucks.
• Must pass MVR check and have safe driving practices.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Experience operating heavy-duty commercial vehicles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a ready-mix concrete truck in compliance with DOT regulations and safety policies.
• Deliver concrete to construction sites and maintain delivery schedules.
• Properly mix concrete materials and follow specifications.
• Read tickets, routes, and jobsite requirements accurately.
• Inspect truck equipment before and after shifts for safety.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers.
• Maneuver and position truck safely at loading areas and jobsites.
• Maintain delivery records and comply with procedures.
• Keep a clean, safe work area and equipment.
• Work in varying weather and traffic conditions.
• Be flexible with scheduling, including overtime and night shifts.
