Job summary

Texas Materials in Texas is seeking a Ready Mix Driver to transport concrete to construction projects, company facilities, or customers. You will operate a mixer truck, perform inspections, and follow supervisor guidance, ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role requires a CDL A or B, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 2 years of mixer truck experience. Adheres to PPE, OSHA/MSHA rules, and safe driving practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience driving mixer truck.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and must maintain a CDL A or CDL B license.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections in compliance with DOT guidelines.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Monitor gauges during operation of the mixer truck.
• Maintain daily vehicle mileage logs.
• Follow all company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Obey dispatch instructions and local laws.
• Ensure product quality and perform minor maintenance as needed.
