Job summary

CHASE seeks a CDL-B driver to safely operate a concrete mixer truck and deliver ready-mix to customer sites in Locust Grove, GA. Expect Monday–Friday shifts (1st and 3rd) with pay between $22 and $25 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, accurate load documentation, and maintaining product quality and excellent customer service on every delivery. DOT compliance and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with air brake endorsement.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with a Concrete Mixer Truck.
• Safe driving record (MVR reviewed).
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Unexpired DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Operate a mixer truck to transport and deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck.
• Complete load information documentation for deliveries.
• Safely load, transport, and discharge concrete per specs and procedures.
• Communicate with dispatchers, batch plant, operators, and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain slump of concrete using truck controls and approved additives.
• Wash out drum and chutes after each delivery to prevent buildup.
• Keep truck clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Represent the company professionally with customers and contractors.

Job Summary:

Will be responsible for safely operating a commercial motor vehicle to deliver ready-mix concrete to customer job sites while ensuring product quality, safety, and excellent customer service. Schedule: Monday Friday 1st Shift: 6AM-FINISH 3rd Shift: 10PM-FINISH Pay Range: $22-$25 (Determined by experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a mixer truck to transport and deliver ready-mix concrete to various construction sites.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck.
• Completes recordkeeping load information on reach order ticker that the driver delivers to job sites and returns to the batch office.
• Safely load, transport, and discharge concrete in accordance with specifications and company procedures.
• Communicate with dispatchers, batch plant, operators, and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain slump (consistency) of concrete through the proper use of truck controls and added water,, when authorized
• Wash out the drum and chutes after each delivery to prevent material build-up
• Keep truck clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition.
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
• Represent the company professionally with customers, contractors, and the public.

Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class B or higher with air brake endorsement.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of previous experience with a Concrete Mixer Truck.
• Safe driving record (MVR will be reviewed).
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Unexpired DOT medical card.
• Experience with mixer trucks or construction materials.
• String communication and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to climb ladders and access all areas of the truck
• Lift and carry chutes and other equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving
