Job summary

Loram Maintenance of Way, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician - CDL to support customer service and maintenance within a defined region. You will ensure unit uptime, perform lubrication of rail equipment, and work with the Sales team to meet customer expectations.

Requirements include a high school diploma, maintaining railroad safety certifications, and the ability to obtain a CDL.Preferred are an Associate degree in Electrical/Mechanical and prior railroad field service experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a CDL.
• Maintain railroad safety training and certifications.
• Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical preferred.
• 1+ year of field service experience with customer-facing role.
• 2+ years in railroad environment or field service.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate top of rail and gauge face units per guidelines.
• Perform lubrication service program for railroad customers.
• Manage and plan work to meet objectives; work independently.
• Process work orders, delivery tickets, warranties and returns.
• Build strong customer and supplier relationships; coordinate with Sales.
