Job summary

Altor Solutions is seeking a Shipping Receiving Specialist to join the Shipping/Warehouse team. You will handle receiving, storing, and delivering goods, while safely operating equipment and moving trailers at dock doors.

The role requires precision in paperwork and strong time management, with a focus on safety and efficiency. You may perform general labor tasks as needed, maintain clean work areas, and support inventory control under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 1–3 years related experience or CDL preferred.
• CDL is required and a current driver's license is necessary.
• Ability to operate power industrial equipment and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading, unloading, and handling of goods and materials.
• Load trucks according to layouts and ensure loads are strapped per DOT rules.
• Inspect containers and validate received materials against invoices and BOLs.
• Complete paperwork for received goods and process bills of lading.
• Receive supplies into the warehouse and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in inventory checks and report discrepancies to supervisor.
