Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking a dependable Pump Technician to operate a service truck, pump septic tanks, and dispose of non-hazardous waste while delivering excellent customer service. The role involves safety-focused fieldwork, pre/post trip inspections, and working independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDL Class A or B is required or a willingness to obtain.
• Tanker Endorsement is a plus.
• 1 year of professional commercial driving experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must pass a DOT drug screen, physical, and road test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a service truck and vacuum equipment to pump septic tanks.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Provide professional customer service and educate customers on system care.
• Identify and report defective components or hazards and recommend service options.
• Complete and submit required paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Respond to trouble or emergency calls as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and DOT regulations.
