Job summary

Doodie Calls, a portable sanitation company operating since 2018, is hiring a CDL Pump Truck Driver for Lake Charles/Sulphur, LA. You will service portable restrooms on a set route, performing pumping, cleaning and restocking tasks during outdoor, physical work with a focus on safety and on‑time performance.

You must have a CDL (hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred), 3+ years of driving, a clean driving record, DOT medical card, and availability for nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• CDL license with tanker endorsement preferred; hazmat a plus.
• 3+ years of commercial driving experience.
• 5-year driving record that passes our insurance review.
• Comfortable with automatic and manual transmissions; trailer or vac-trailer experience a plus.
• Current DOT medical card, and able to pass a DOT Clearinghouse query.
• Available for some nights, weekends and holidays, including storm and event surges.

Responsibilities

• Do your pre-trip inspection and log it before rolling out.
• Work your route: pump, clean, sanitize and restock each unit.
• Safely back up, park, and maneuver large service trucks and multi-unit trailers into tight or uneven spaces on active jobsites.
• Keep dispatch posted on delays, site problems, breakdowns or accidents.
• Unload at the approved disposal site and keep your dump, mileage and service logs.
• Refuel, handle basic upkeep and flag anything the shop needs to fix.
