Wind River Environmental is seeking a dependable Pump Technician to join our team in a full-time on-site role. You will operate a service truck and vacuum equipment to pump septic systems, delivering safe, reliable service with professional customer interactions.

Base pay ranges from $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, with benefits including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k). The position emphasizes safety and compliance with DOT rules while providing steady year-round work.

Qualifications

• CDL class A or B required.
• Tanker Endorsement or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to drive manual transmission.
• At least 1 year of professional commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Basic computer literacy (email, internet).
• Must pass DOT drug screen, physical, and road test.
• Willingness to work in a drug-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a service truck and vacuum equipment to pump septic tanks.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Provide professional customer service and educate customers on system care.
• Identify and report defective components or hazards; recommend service options.
• Complete and submit paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Respond to trouble or emergency calls as needed.
