Job summary

Dead River Company seeks a Delivery Driver to safely and courteously deliver petroleum products to residential and commercial customers. The role reports to the Delivery Driver Manager with emphasis on customer service, safety, and proper handling of customer property.

The position requires a Class B CDL with hazmat endorsement, CETP training, and possibly oil burner licensing. You will work outdoors in varying weather and participate in night/weekend on-call shifts while upholding pledges and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Class B CDL with hazmat endorsement required.
• CETP training/certification required for propane delivery.
• Apprentice oil burner license required for oil deliveries.
• Must pass DOT physical and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver petroleum products to residential and commercial customers.
• Perform daily safety checks on delivery vehicle.
• Review manifest, load truck, and deliver according to regulations.
• Maintain customer service standards and efficiency.
• Attend driver meetings and communicate with dispatch.
• Keep neat appearance and proper PPE.
• Utilize Raven handheld device proficiently.
• Stock truck with safety equipment and follow safety standards.
• Work nights and weekends on-call as needed.
• Prime furnaces or light pilots for propane deliveries.
• Cross-train to support other departments.
