Job summary

Shute Oil & Propane in Rudyard Township, MI is seeking a CDL driver to load, transport, and unload propane safely, while meeting DOT and company safety requirements. You will work closely with service technicians and dispatch, provide on‑time service at customer locations, and participate in on‑call rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs and pull up to 125 lbs in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to work on-call and outside regular hours when required.
• Commitment to following safety procedures without exception.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane products safely
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, DOT, and company safety requirements
• Complete accurate service orders, documentation, and parts billing each day.
• Inspect vehicles and report maintenance or equipment needs promptly
• Provide professional, courteous service at every customer location
• Work collaboratively with service and dispatch teams to support operational goals
• Participate in on-call rotations, including extended or after-hours work as business needs require
