Job summary

Grayson College seeks an Adjunct Instructor to support the CDL Program, including ELDT theory and BTW training (Range/Road). The role may include daytime, evening, weekend, hybrid, or online instruction.

The salary is $700 per credit hour and the position is part-time, reporting to the Director of CDL and Logistics. Applicants should have a valid Class A CDL with endorsements preferred and meet qualifications for instructor licensure.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience within the past ten years, or meet minimum requirements for instructor licensure.
• Knowledge of FMCSA ELDT standards, DOT requirements, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver ELDT curriculum and BTW instruction (Range and Public Road).
• Maintain compliance documentation with TDЛR, FMCSA, TXDOT and related rules.
• Provide range training focusing on vehicle control, backing, and inspections.
• Support student learning and program outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Industrial Technologies Department.
