Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an Operator to operate equipment per job plans and safety policies. The role requires reading safety rules and manuals, maintaining equipment, and working with diverse teams across levels. A valid driver’s license and at least one year of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of related experience in operating equipment.
• Equipment certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license with endorsements as required by law.
• Strong teamwork, customer service, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and load charts.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as blade, dozer, loader, scraper, forklift/telehandler, crane, bobcat/skid-steer, boom lifts/aerial lifts, roller, backhoe, and track crane.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
• Perform routine maintenance, monitor equipment operation, and detect malfunctions.
• Follow work plans and pre-task cards.
• Build relationships across diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
