Job summary

Transwest, Inc. is seeking a CDL Service Porter in Fountain, CO to move vehicles on the property and deliver recreational vehicles, trucks to customers on local runs. The role requires a valid Class A or B CDL with a clean MVR, strict adherence to DOT regulations, and strong customer service.

You will work Tuesday through Saturday, 1st shift, with a hourly pay range of $24 to $30. The job includes duties like greeting customers, inspecting vehicles, performing minor detailing, and maintaining

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid class A or B CDL and MVR in good standing.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must pass background check, physical and drug screening.
• Able to follow DOT regulations and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and deliver trucks to customers.
• Drive customer and company vehicles on Transwest property.
• Perform minor detail work on vehicles.
• Greet customers who enter the location.
• Answer service calls and provide excellent customer service.
• Report mechanical issues in vehicles.
• Inspect vehicle condition before and after use.
• Log and report vehicle inspections.
• Safely select destination routes and drive in compliance with policies.
• Complete records such as driver logs and shipper/receiver docs.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operate equipment safely.
• Road test vehicles for technicians when needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
