Job summary

Transwest Inc. is seeking a CDL Service Porter to move vehicles on our properties and handle local pickups and deliveries of recreational vehicles, medium and heavy-duty trucks.

You will operate on Transwest sites, greet customers, and support the Service Department with vehicle care and log inspections. The role requires a valid Class A CDL and clean MVR, strong communication, and the ability to work safely in all weather while adhering to DOT rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid class A CDL and MVR in good standing.
• Professional and courteous demeanor.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and deliver trucks to customers.
• Drive customer and company vehicles on Transwest property.
• Perform minor detail work on vehicles.
• Greet customers who enter the location.
• Answer service calls and provide excellent customer service.
• Report mechanical issues in vehicles.
• Determine vehicle condition before/after use.
• Log and report vehicle inspections.
• Safely select destination route.
• Adhere to DOT regulations at all times.
• Road test vehicles for technicians when needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
