Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Commitment to Ben E. Keith company principles and safety standards.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Willingness to learn new processes and technology.
• Good mathematical and PC skills.
• Ability to obtain CDL Permit within two months of entering the program.

Responsibilities

• Learn to safely perform delivery duties with a strong safety record.
• Deliver products along routes with multiple stops and varying difficulty.
• Provide accurate and dependable service with a sense of urgency.
• Read invoices to identify products to move and deliver.
• Learn to use Xata onboard computers and handheld scanners.
• Follow FMCSA regulations and vehicle safety procedures.
• Identify and report mechanical issues to management.
• Maintain required records, including DVIRs and HOS logs.
