• Proven ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions

Responsibilities

• Learn to safely perform delivery duties with a strong safety record
• Deliver products along routes with multiple stops and varying difficulty
• Read customer invoices to identify products to move and deliver
• Learn to use Xata onboard computers and handheld scanners
• Learn FMCSA regulations and driver safety requirements
• Perform vehicle safety inspections and check fluids, tires, lights, brakes
• Identify and report mechanical problems to management
• Maintain Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports and Hours of Service Logs
• Becoming proficient in Defensive Driver Training
