Job summary

Cuisine Boulud New York is seeking a reliable Commissary Delivery Driver to transport food and supplies from our central kitchen to various delivery locations across New York. The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, a valid CDL, and strong time-management and customer-service skills.

You will load and unload, follow schedules, ensure proper handling and temperature control of perishable items, and maintain logs, vehicle cleanliness, and basic maintenance checks.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and clean driving record.
• Experience in food delivery, catering, or hospitality preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Familiar with GPS navigation and route planning.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload food, beverages, and catering equipment from the commissary to designated locations.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by dispatch or operations.
• Verify contents against packing lists or invoices before departure.
• Maintain temperature control for perishable items during transport.
• Keep vehicle clean, sanitized, and stocked with supplies.
• Communicate delivery issues or vehicle concerns to the supervisor promptly.
• Assist with setup and breakdown at event sites if required.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and company guidelines.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.
