Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse in New York City is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to join our delivery team. You will be responsible for on-time deliveries, loading and unloading, and maintaining accurate paperwork.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, ability to lift 25 pounds, and experience with hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts. A DOT physical is required; strong time management and customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Follow set, scheduled route for daily deliveries.
• Read maps or set GPS to determine and track daily route.
• Deliver products to clients on time.
• Load and organize inventory from warehouse into vehicle.
• Scan or write delivery confirmations.
• Collect signatures and/or payments at delivery.
• Maintain delivery paperwork and report incidents.
• Follow safety rules and road regulations.
• Coordinate with warehouse on delivery progress.
