Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company in Chicago, IL is hiring a CDL Delivery Driver for a full-time day shift. Deliver paint and supplies to customers and job sites, load and unload the vehicle, perform pre/post trip inspections, complete delivery paperwork, and maintain the vehicle.

You will help maintain store cleanliness, support tinting and mixing, and provide friendly customer service while adhering to safety standards and store policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid CDL Class B license with clean driving record.
• Medical Examiner's Certificate and Driver Qualification File.
• Able to operate a CMV over 10,000lbs and under 26,000lbs.
• Strong customer service and team-oriented mindset.
• Flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, lift, and carry up to 80 pounds periodically and 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver paint and supplies to customers and job sites.
• Load and unload vehicle while matching products to customer paperwork with accuracy.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections on delivery vehicle.
• Complete delivery paperwork promptly and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Maintain high service standards in-store and during deliveries.
• Support store with tinting and mixing paint, stocking, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining store cleanliness.
• Complete mandatory safety training and wear protective gear.
• Report to the Store Manager.
