Schedule runs 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with no telework option.

Starting salary is $42,347.00 annually, with progression to $47,863.00 based on tenure and qualifications. Veterans’ preferences may apply.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C license.
• Must possess an active Pennsylvania Commercial Driver Learner's Permit on first day of work.
• Must possess an active Medical Examiner's Certificate per FMCSA regulations by first day of work.
• Able to perform essential job functions.
• Veterans may receive employment preference per state rules.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate highway construction and maintenance equipment safely and correctly.
• Handle and operate motorized and non-motorized tools for maintenance tasks.
• Follow workplace safety rules to protect yourself, your team, and the public.
• Stay alert to hazards and report injuries, accidents or near misses immediately.
• Apply environmental guidelines required for maintenance activities.
