Job summary

Action Environmental in Alabama seeks an Equipment Operator to safely operate commercial vehicles and specialized cleaning equipment at customer sites. A CDL and ability to handle vacuum trucks, hydroblasting, and other heavy equipment are required, along with willingness to travel and work OT in industrial environments.

Responsibilities include equipment inspections, loading/unloading, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations while delivering high safety and customer service

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Must meet DOT physical qualification requirements.
• Ability to pass DOT drug screening requirements.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to travel as needed, including overnight travel.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A or Class B commercial vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Transport equipment, tools, and materials to and from customer job sites.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment, including vacuum trucks and hydroblasting equipment.
• Perform industrial cleaning services such as tank cleaning, hydro excavation, and line flushing.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of commercial vehicles and equipment.
• Complete daily vehicle inspection reports and required DOT documentation.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment safely.
• Follow all OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company safety regulations.
