Job summary

Baker Hughes Company in Carlsbad, NM is seeking a CDL Operator to ensure safe logistics for our chemical operations. You will transport chemicals from the plant to client sites and maintain compliance with DOT requirements.

You will perform routine paperwork, load/unload inventory, and operate heavy-duty trucks, contributing to a safety-first, team-oriented workplace. This role supports Monday–Friday with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent level of education.
• 6 months CDL driving experience.
• Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-based safety-first environment.
• Clean driving record.
• Be able to move 50lbs and perform physical and tool-based tasks.
• Operate a heavy-duty manual transmission vehicle.
• Willing to load/unload inventory and work in the workshop.

Responsibilities

• Conducting day-to-day warehouse and delivery operations to ensure preparation of routes, shipping papers and DOT pre-trip trucks.
• Performing daily inventory at sites and loading via pump, required chemicals to complete the days treatment route.
• Ensuring that all DOT requirements are met within the delivery and treating fleet.
• Completing paperwork for DOT inspection records, treating tablet and maps to ensure safety and compliance.
• Performing gate checks, routine maintenance on pumping system and work area inspections to ensure a safe working environment.
• Driving a treater truck to and from client-based locations.
