Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a CDL Operator in Hobbs, NM to ensure safe delivery of chemicals from the plant to customer locations. You will transport chemicals and provide first-class service to site locations while adhering to DOT and safety standards.

Responsibilities include route planning, pre-trip paperwork, inventory checks, and maintenance of pumping systems. You will work Monday–Friday with occasional overtime and may assist with loading and unloading inventory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months CDL driving experience.
• Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement.
• Good communication skills and team-based safety-first mindset.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to move 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Operate heavy-duty manual transmission vehicle.
• Willing to load/unload inventory and work in workshop.

Responsibilities

• Conduct day-to-day warehouse and delivery operations to ensure preparation of routes, shipping papers and DOT pre-trip trucks.
• Performing daily inventory at sites and loading required chemicals to complete the days treatment route.
• Ensuring that all DOT requirements are met within the delivery and treating fleet.
• Completing paperwork for DOT inspection records, treating tablet and maps to ensure safety and compliance.
• Performing gate checks, routine maintenance on pumping system and work area inspections to ensure a safe working environment.
• Driving a treater truck to and from client-based locations.
