Job summary

Coleman Worldwide Moving is hiring CDL drivers in the Plano, TX area. You will transport household goods, lead the loading crew, and ensure proper packing and safety checks. Excellent customer interaction is expected as you represent the company daily.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel locally, intrastate and/or interstate.
• Strong communication skills for customer interaction.
• Ability to operate a box truck or tractor trailer per CDL qualifications.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
• Be punctual, reliable and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods using a company truck.
• Lead the crew in loading shipment on to and/or off of truck.
• Inspect shipment prior to loading for proper packing or wrapping.
• Perform accurate inventory of shipment.
• Assist in loading trucks/containers for interstate movement.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on the vehicle and equipment.
• Maintain documentation for shipments, expenses, logs, and regulations.
• Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.
