Responsible for driving and maintaining the Mobile Medical Unit on a daily basis. Ensures the safety of the vehicle and assists medical personnel during scheduled clinic sessions. Inputs registration demographic data.Verifies patient’s insurance information for coverage eligibility.Coordinates and participates in activities related to delivery and retrieval of patient consents records while maintaining privacy of protected health information in adherence with policies and procedures.Updates records as needed.Performs and assists with special projects and events for the Methodist Le Bonheur Community Outreach team.Performs hearing and vision testing, height and weight, as well as some point of care tests on patients.Ensures the mobile unit vehicle is properly loaded and effectively manages resources such as supplies and equipment. Maintains a clean, safe and organized work area.Plans work and completes job responsibilities in an efficient and productive manner.Performs maintenance checks on vehicle and medical equipment.
