Job summary

Knight’s Companies is seeking a Mixer Truck Driver to safely operate a concrete mixer and deliver high-quality concrete to job sites. You will handle load inspections, follow DOT regulations, and coordinate with dispatch while upholding company values and customer service.

The role requires a CDL, REAL ID, and at least one year of driving experience in SC or GA, with bilingual skills seen as a plus. Competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package accompany the position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) required
• Valid REAL ID in state of residence required
• Must be at least: 18 for SC, 21 for GA
• Minimum of one year CDL driving experience
• No DUI/DWI violations within past five years
• No more than three moving violations within past three years
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Bilingual skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a concrete mixer truck in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies
• Deliver concrete to job sites efficiently and accurately
• Inspect loads to ensure proper mix consistency and quality (slump, texture, color)
• Verify delivery instructions and job site locations before departing the plant
• Maintain communication with plant personnel and dispatch for delivery coordination
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional service at all times
• Complete required paperwork including delivery tickets, logs, and inspection reports
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment
• Maintain truck cleanliness and perform minor maintenance as needed
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety standards
• Support plant operations and assist team members when needed
