Job summary

CEC Companies is seeking a CDL Material Handler to support construction projects by moving tools and materials on job sites and facilities. You will assist with deliveries, inventory, and organization, with a strong emphasis on safety.

This is a safety-sensitive, hands-on role requiring planning and problem-solving. The position involves driving company vehicles, handling freight, performing counts, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Forklift and DOT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up materials as needed.
• Load and unload trucks safely.
• Track inventory and assist with regular counts.
• Organize and clean tools, materials, and the warehouse.
• Operate company vehicles when required.
• Maintain paperwork like logs and transfer forms.
• Support shop and fleet maintenance as needed.
• Follow safety rules and keep workspace clean and organized.
• Perform other duties to support projects and operations.
