Job summary

You will load/unload with forklifts or by hand, secure loads, and complete logs and delivery paperwork while using mobile devices to communicate with dispatch. Safety and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A preferred.
• Hoisting License (H-1C).
• Experience operating Moffett and forklifts strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Physically fit and capable of sustained heavy work.
• Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and customer service.
• Comfortable using smartphones or tablets for routing and communication.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A or Class B trucks to deliver lumber and building materials.
• Load and unload your own truck using forklifts, Moffett, and manual labor as required.
• Deliver to active jobsites and load returns from customer locations.
• Secure loads properly and inspect materials for accuracy and condition.
• Communicate with dispatch using mobile apps or tablets.
• Complete required logs, inspections, and delivery paperwork.
• Represent Koopman Lumber professionally with customers and jobsite personnel.
• This role requires physical effort and problem‑solving — it’s not dock‑to‑dock driving.
