Job summary

George’s Processing is hiring a Lot Driver - CDL to transport products safely and efficiently to meet daily operations. The role requires a valid Class A CDL, DOT physical, and the ability to work in the United States.

The ideal candidate has poultry/meat processing exposure, strong English skills, and the readiness to cooperate with a safety-first team in a fast-paced environment. On-site position with weekend on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Class A CDL required.
• Must pass DOT physical.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• 1 year of experience with completed driver’s school training or 2 years without driver's school training.
• Proficiency in English.
• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous poultry or meat processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre and post trip checks per protocol.
• Obey DOT, state and federal regulations.
• Back trailers into loading docks and assist with docking.
• Inspect trailers and ensure safe movement in the yard.
• Communicate professionally with team members; on-call weekends as needed.
