Job summary

Sysco in Avon, MA is seeking CDL-B delivery drivers for 10-hour routes that get you home daily. You will load/unload at each stop, verify deliveries with customers, and keep routes efficient under guidance of the Transportation Manager.

Early morning starts (12AM–3AM) with opportunities to earn $86,000–$92,000 base pay plus bonus and incentives. Benefits include healthcare, paid vacation, retirement, and stock discounts.

Qualifications

• One year route delivery experience or background driving a straight truck.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License - Class B (Class A preferred).
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for interactions with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer and place in designated storage areas; may transport product down ramps or stairs.
• Lift up to 50 lbs., up to 80 lbs infrequently; stack pallets and use hand carts as needed.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; communicate discrepancies to management.
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations and Sysco policy.
