Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Avon, MA is seeking drivers for full-time and part-time route deliveries. Expect 10-hour routes with early starts between 12AM and 3AM, designed to return home for dinner each day.

Drivers load and unload at stops, verify deliveries with customers, manage signatures, and address issues professionally. DOT safety rules and Sysco policy guide inspections and operations.

Qualifications

• High School or GED or equivalent.
• One year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures.
• Handles customer complaints professionally.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations and Sysco policies.
