Job summary

Nationwide Video seeks an experienced delivery driver to ensure timely pickup and delivery of audio-visual equipment. You will maintain client satisfaction with on-time delivery and professionally handle any issues that arise.

Reports to the Director of Logistics. Requires a Class A CDL, DOT medical, ELDT, forklift cert, and clean driving record. This is a full-time role with occasional overtime and travel between Nationwide locations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Hold or obtain a Class A CDL License.
• Pass a DOT Medical Examination.
• Complete Entry-Level Driver Training Test (ELDT).
• 3-5 years of experience maintaining a delivery route with excellent customer service.
• Forklift certification.
• Possess a clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles for deliveries and pickups according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
• Transports loads safely and in a timely manner while obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations.
• Plan and complete an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day.
• Deliver products to correct address, maintains signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork.
• Pick up equipment along the scheduled route, including company orders, and other items as requested.
• Load and unload goods and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted; unload empty skids and return all equipment to designated area.
• Interact professionally with clients, acting as a liaison for the company.
• Maintain basic records of truck mileage and deliveries performed.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle receives basic service according to the maintenance schedule and reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to the Manager as well as performing daily safety checks.
• Works closely with Logistics and performs cross-functional duties with other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned
