Job summary

Airgas is seeking a Local Delivery Driver in Cedar Rapids, IA to safely deliver compressed gas cylinders from a branch or plant using a company truck. You will coordinate cylinder flow and build lasting customer relationships while supporting a professional team focused on safety and reliability.

The role requires a valid CDL with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements (or ability to obtain within 90 days), a clean driving record, and the ability to lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT and Airbrake endorsements or able to obtain within 90 days.
• Maintain valid driver’s license, medical card and endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions or one at-fault accident in last 3 years.
• No DUI in last seven years; able to work in a drug-free environment.
• Must be able to regularly lift 75 lbs and move 125 lbs with assistive equipment.
• At least 1 year of CDL driving experience or recent trucking school completion.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders to customer locations.
• Accurately record deliveries and pickups with signatures on manifest.
• Comply with Airgas safety standards and government regulations (DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, OSHA).
• Provide warehouse/dock support as needed.
