Hours: 2-4 hours per day between runs; exact hours TBD. 10-month position.

Job Description

CBSD is accepting applications for CDL Instructors. The instructor must effectively present the Pennsylvania School Bus Driver Training Course to prospective drivers and demonstrate motivation to coach and train new drivers to pass all state requirements, including S.P and Air Brake endorsements. The instructor will also conduct driver recertification skills tests. Candidates should work well in a team, communicate effectively, follow instructions, complete tasks, and be courteous.

May require summer work as needed. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Must possess a current CDL with school bus, passenger, and air brake endorsements.
• Must pass the state-certified 20-hour course for CDL Instructors and maintain certification.
• At least 2 years of experience as a bus driver.
