Job summary

BCAC Underground is seeking a CDL/Hydro Vac Operator (Swamper) to support field operations in Nashville, TN. You will operate hydro‑vac trucks, combo units, and equipment transport trailers, loading and unloading materials while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and a tanker endorsement (or willingness to obtain). Prior hydro‑vac or heavy equipment experience is preferred, along with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Tanker Endorsement required or willingness to obtain.
• Commercial driving and/or hydro‑vac operating experience.
• Ability to safely load and secure materials and heavy equipment for transport.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Strong commitment to safe vehicle, equipment, and jobsite operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, hydro‑vac trucks, and equipment transport trailers.
• Perform hydro‑vac operations, including high‑pressure water jetting and vacuum recovery.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials and heavy machinery with proper tie‑downs.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections per DOT, OSHA, and company standards.
• Assist field crews with jobsite logistics and equipment positioning.
• Maintain logs, inspection reports, and required documentation.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are clean, organized, and properly serviced.
