Job summary

EquipmentShare is hiring a CDL Delivery Driver in Lake Charles, LA to join our growing team. You will be responsible for safe, on-time transport of rental equipment, coordination with loading crews, and accurate documentation using our tech-assisted platform.

This full-time role features a Monday–Friday schedule (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM) with overtime after 40 hours and on-call duties with additional compensation. We value reliability, safety, and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or chauffeur’s license required, weight appropriate for vehicle.
• Must pass background and drug testing per regulations.
• Must pass DOT physical.
• Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicle according to state and federal laws.
• Transports loads safely and on time, following routes and traffic rules.
• Maneuvers truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas, follows signals.
• Assists with loading/unloading with equipment as needed; returns equipment to designated area.
• Maintains invoices and shipping documents; delivers paperwork upon route completion.
• Conducts routine truck maintenance checks and reports malfunctions.
• Arranges trailers in yards for optimal loading patterns.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
