Guardian Fleet Services is seeking a reliable Heavy Duty Driver to join our growing team in Fort Wayne, IN. You will operate heavy-duty rotators, rollbacks, and recovery vehicles with a CDL, transporting goods while collaborating with Dispatch and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of commercial driving, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent communication. This role requires weekend availability and a commitment to safety and accuracy in all

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Trade school accreditation in towing/recovery/transport.
• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL license.
• Ability to operate heavy duty vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods and materials to and from designated locations.
• Collaborate with Dispatch on customer calls.
• Operate heavy-duty vehicles such as trucks, trailers, and buses.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance (oil, water, tire checks).
• Secure and load cargo properly.
• Follow traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation.
• Take on other duties as assigned.
