Job summary

PUSH, Inc. in Minnesota seeks a CDL Directional Drill Operator/Locator (HDD) to install fiber and utility conduits using trenchless methods. You will operate HDD rigs, read prints, and mentor fellow crew members in both rural and urban environments.

Responsibilities include steering, bore profile maintenance, equipment upkeep, and coordinating with locates. Safety, teamwork, and willingness to travel are essential in this field role.

Qualifications

• Experience reading prints/schematics.
• Ability to train and mentor other team members.
• Must have HDD experience around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Valid Class A CDL and pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operates Directional Bore equipment for installation of underground cable conduit or utilities.
• Ensure proper steering based on job preparations and projections.
• Operate construction equipment to conform to grade alignment specifications.
• Maintain bore profile plots and provide directional drilling data to customers.
• Abide safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
• Inspect and maintain all equipment, performing routine maintenance.
• Read utility locates and coordinate day lighting of facilities.
• Assist with all aspects of the job including basic labor responsibilities.
• Ensure setup and cleanup of the work site, including traffic and pedestrian control measures.
