Qualifications

  • Team-oriented, safety-focused and able to work outdoors.
  • Some mechanical experience; construction equipment familiarity preferred.
  • Able to lift at least 75 pounds.
  • Capable of working in high temperatures and dusty conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Willingness to travel and work overtime/weekends.
  • Licensing: Class B CDL with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a fuel truck to transport diesel fuel to construction job sites
  • Dispense fuel and grease heavy equipment on-site
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and ensure proper maintenance of the fuel truck
  • Assist mechanics with maintenance and minor repairs of heavy equipment as needed
  • Follow all DOT, company safety, and environmental regulations
  • Maintain accurate fuel logs and documentation
  • Support team operations and adapt to changing project needs

Description

We are currently looking for a CDL Hazmat Fueler to support company projects throughout the southeast. This role is responsible for safely transporting and dispensing diesel fuel, greasing heavy equipment, and assisting with basic maintenance tasks on construction sites. This role ensures compliance with all DOT, EPA, OSHA, and company safety standards while maintaining accurate fueling logs and equipment records.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in demanding outdoor environments.

Work Environment

Work is performed outdoors in all types of environmental conditions. This role involves strenuous physical activity for extended periods under varying and sometimes adverse field conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a fuel truck to transport diesel fuel to construction job sites
