Job summary

Quick Supply Co. in Osseo, WI seeks full-time CDL drivers with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements to transport bulk and packaged blasting products. You will perform inspections, load/unload safely, and work outdoors in all weather while upholding strict safety standards.

Candidates must hold a valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and a current medical certificate, and be willing to obtain endorsements within 90 days with company assistance. OT may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and current medical certification.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform outdoor work daily.
• Able to work in various weather conditions on rough terrain.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and compliance as a daily priority.
• Collaborate with location and crew members to deliver excellent customer service.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload products following policy and regulations.
• Work outdoors in all weather, lifting 50+ pounds regularly.
• Pull hoses, shovel, and perform walking, bending or squatting.
• Attend training and demonstrate knowledge of vehicle systems and product application.
• Be available for overtime to meet customer objectives.

Job description

Position Overview:

Our Drivers transport bulk and packaged products to customer job sites, operate our vehicles to manufacture and deliver product in to blast holes and provide general blast crew labor as needed.

Driver candidates must have a valid CDL Class A or B with current Hazmat and Tank endorsements as well as current medical certification. If you need either of these endorsements and are willing to obtain with 90 days of hire, we will assist you to do so.

Responsibilities of the Position:

• While carrying out daily responsibilities safety and compliance must be the first priority.
• Must be reliable and able to work closely with other location and crew members to provide exceptional customer service.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload vehicles ensuring products are handled, transported and stored according to policy and regulations.
• Work outdoors in all types of weather, lifting and carrying 50 pounds or more of product and material on a regular basis.
• Pull hoses, shovel and frequently walk, bend or squat.
• Attend training and be able to to demonstrate knowledge and competence of vehicle operating systems and product application.
• Available to work overtime to meet customer objectives.
