Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Groundperson with CDL required for full-time outdoor work. You will operate chainsaws to manage brush, logs, and stumps and feed brush into wood chippers while keeping vehicles and equipment serviced and maintained in good condition.

Role is physical and outdoors, with emphasis on safety and reliability. Applicant must be at least 18, possess a valid CDL, and be able to pass pre-employment screens as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate chainsaw and handle brush materials.
• Willingness to learn maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into wood chipper.
• Services vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
