Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling is hiring a CDL Grapple Driver to safely operate a Grapple Truck while serving customers along assigned routes. You will collect, transport, deliver, or service materials with a strong emphasis on safety and professional customer interactions.

The role requires a valid CDL, ability to work outdoors in various weather, and a commitment to safety and quality service. OT and varying schedules are possible to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Grapple Truck on assigned routes.
• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers.
• Collect, transport, deliver, or dispose of materials per procedures.
• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents or route delays promptly.
• Communicate with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
• Use onboard technology to complete route documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.
• Assist teammates with other operational needs as directed.
