Job summary

Central United Cooperative is seeking a Class A CDL driver to ensure safe loading, transport, and delivery of bulk refined fuels and propane to storage facilities and customers. Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle condition, documenting deliveries, and complying with DOT/OSHA regulations.

The role requires hazmat/tanker endorsements and a valid CDL, with pre-employment and random drug testing. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours in peak seasons is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, or ability to obtain immediately.
• Insurable driver with both manual and automatic transmission experience.
• Pre-employment and random drug testing required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to work extended hours in peak seasons.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates an efficient route system with dispatch to maximize time and cost-per-mile efficiencies.
• Maintains and ensures the appearance and safety of the assigned vehicle.
• Operates vehicle in compliance with DOT, OSHA and other regulations related to the energy industry.
• Delivers bulk refined fuels and propane to Central United Cooperative storage and to customers.
• Maintains required logs, truck inspections, and other documentation.
• Attends training sessions as part of continuing education programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned and assists in resolving customer issues per company policy.
